Urban Art


The term street art or urban art, translation street art expression refers to all street art, often illegal. Urban art encompasses both the graffiti as various other forms of artistic expression street. Since the mid-90s the term street art or, more specifically, Post-Graffiti is used to describe the work of a diverse group of artists who have developed a mode of artistic expression in the streets by using various techniques ( templates, posters, stickers, murals, graffiti ...), which is away from the famous graffiti but not always have to be on walls today because now it is even possible to draw 3D expertly.
One is the use of templates (stencil), often with a political message, is especially important in Paris in the second half of the 60s, however, it was not until the mid-90s, with the emergence of artists like American Shepard Fairey and his campaign "Obey" (Obey giant) (Obey the giant), designed from the image of the American wrestler Andre the giant and carried out by using posters and templates, when the various proposals of this type they charge booming around the world and are perceived as a whole as part of the same phenomenon or scene.
